Shop Light is a lamp that references the protective cages found in industrial shop lighting. The goal is to bring this familiar architecture into the context of contemporary living spaces. 

The protective cage is emphasized with an expressive form that casts linear shadows onto the surrounding room. This cage, which is made from aluminium rods that flat pack for efficient shipping, also functions as a handle for carrying the lamp.
